Inclusion School

Putting well-being at the heart of education

Welcome from the Head

Welcome to Inclusion School Basingstoke – part of Inclusion Education specialist education charity that supports young people with mental health, additional learning needs and the co-occurrence with neurodivergence.

As detailed on our School hub site – we are an independent specialist SEMH mixed school for young people from 11-16 years old.

As the first Inclusion School, opened in September 2022, we are incredibly proud of the environment we have created for young people in our care, working with our staff to continually improve and develop our approach and practice to meet the needs of our learners.

We have worked hard to create a strong community around our school – with parents, carers, families and staff working together to ensure the very best outcomes for our learners.

Our experienced and dedicated staff take an approach that centres on trusted relationships and allows our learners the opportunity to develop and grow in a safe space where they feel seen, heard and valued.

Our school environment has been created with the idea of nurturing the individual, whilst supporting re-engagement and development of education that looks at the whole person, incorporating mental health and well-being along with an inspiring and aspirational curriculum. Through topics such as Growth and Readiness our learners are encouraged by empowered progression, offering them the foundations in which to develop and grow at their own pace, building their toolkit for skills, experience, confidence and independence to thrive in their own vision of success.

We look forward to welcoming new leaners and families to the Inclusion community.
